As a board member of the BVT – Verband Tore (the German counterpart of the IDA) and as German delegate for the standardization of tactile safety systems Friedrichs expertise and experience have been in great demand at the general assembly of the EDSF (European Door and Shutter Federation) in Madrid. “That more and more people get injured or killed because badly skilled people or laymen install driving units inappropriately is an intolerable situation. Safety is not an option, it´s a must!”, as Helmut Friedrich said. It is a matter of concern for him to emphasize the importance of safety standards and to support assemblies like the EDSF general assembly.

A dramatic fact: In 2010 three children were killed because of false installation. These accidents are just some of the great number of accidents in the USA and Europe ASO Safety Solutions wants to play its part to secure people and will therefore fight for more sensitivity regarding safety.
